Candidate's background

I began my career as a nurse, driven by a passion for healthcare and patient care. Seeking international experience, I moved to the UK to work as a scrub nurse at Salisbury District Hospital, where I gained invaluable hands-on experience in surgical procedures and teamwork in high-pressure environments.

Eager to expand my expertise beyond clinical practice, I pursued a Master’s degree followed by an MBA in Marketing and Digital Marketing, equipping myself with the skills to bridge the gap between healthcare and strategic business innovation.

Upon returning, I joined Johnson & Johnson, where I have been able to merge my clinical background with my passion for education, innovation, and professional development—helping shape impactful learning experiences for healthcare professionals.

I have been with Johnson & Johnson for nearly 7 years, during which I have taken on multiple roles that have allowed me to grow both professionally and personally. My journey has included working as a Clinical Specialist, Sales Trainer, Sales Representative, and most recently as a VELYS Specialist. Each role has given me the opportunity to develop my expertise, support healthcare professionals, and contribute to innovative solutions in the field.

I first met Vicky when I had the pleasure of teaching her to be a trainer of the Integrity Selling program at JnJ. Within a few hours it was clear to me how passionate she was about education and the teaching of other people. I taught her in English and she had to do all of her assessments in English too! Simply incredible how she managed that. She passed with flying colours.

Since that time I have been in regular contact with Vicky and the many people who surround her within the JnJ organisation. She has grown to become one of the best Integrity Selling trainers we have in EMEA. Her knowledge of the content is fantastic, her engagement levels are superb and her delivery is fun and relaxed. It was sheer joy to be taught by Vicky when I did her training assessments, I’m sure all of her students have found this. JnJ should ensure they keep Vicky close or else there will be many companies who would love to have a trainer who is as intelligent and compassionate as she is!!!

Vicky has not only developed into an incredible trainer, but she is one of the special breed of trainers who genuinely cares about her students and is dedicated to delivering high quality training. She has phenomenal empathy which is an amazing gift and I know she will never lose this. People that know me, know how passionate I am about education and the development of other people. Vicky is one of the few people I have ever met whose passion for education rivals even my own.

I’m immensely proud of the trainer she has become and sure she will continue to develop to a time where her skill level surpasses even mine. No one will be happier when that happens than me. As one of my first trainees, she will always have a special place in my heart.
